The Doctoral & Graduate Students’ Council (DSC) is accepting project proposals for the Participatory Budget Awards. The purpose of Participatory Budgeting (PB) is to invest in some long-term aspect of the infrastructure at the GC. We are especially looking for projects that could improve the quality of student life for members of underserved communities.

This will be the third year in which DSC funds will be made available for community-oriented projects at the CUNY Graduate Center. Some of the successful projects made possible by the Participatory Budget are the installation of new water fountains, the TRANS-PRESENCE @ CUNY project, and Sustainable Pantry Supplies for All Floors, among others.

Please closely read the attached documents to learn the goals of the participatory budget, how to submit project proposals, submission guidelines, project eligibility criteria, and more.

You submit proposals through this link: https://tinyurl.com/DSCPB2019-20

All of the information can also be found on the website: https://participatorybudget.weebly.com/

Please contact the Co-Chair for Business, Raj Korpan, with any questions at [log in to unmask]
